So everyone knows the history of cops and donuts, right? The relation comes from night shift cops many years ago when the only places still open were donut shops for them to grab a quick bite to eat. Obviously a lot has changed since then, but my husband keeps the tradition alive in our home and refers to his donuts as his "cop vitamins."
